Sometimes you have to shake it up a bit to get out of your comfort zone. This band will push you to the beyond then with a flick of a note, will spin you to the opposite edge. The musicianship is exceptional but I’m particularly impressed with the arrangement and production. Then, they top it off with a video that is equally up to the task of visual representation.

Igorr is the stage name for Gautier Serre who includes various top talent for his performance band. Serre plays piano, drums, guitar and produces. Serre claims to have synesthesia, in his case perceiving music as colors. He developed the band in part because he wanted to hear the exact music he desired.

Take a listen and let your mind expand and be delighted by this muscial experience.

It’s Been Awhile

My love for music never left me but my time has escaped me. But now I’m back, ready to take over the internet airwaves with stories intended to open you to musical artist that the world needs to hear. Some you may disagree with and some you will be in complete musical harmony. So let’s not waste any more time and get to the good stuff.

Truly a voice that can soothe the soul then scratch the goosebumps on your back. A writer with meaningful content that covers a range of topics. Able to sit with an acoustic guitar and make you feel like he’s singing directly to you in a crowd of thousands. I enjoy both his solo performance and with the his band Staind.

Well, it’s been awhile but I’m back with new found energy.

4 Non Blondes Spaceman

Front woman Linda Perry is best known for her big voice and lyrical poetry. Her skills have been used by several main stream celebrities. I wish the band still was working together but until then, enjoy one of 4 Non Blondes more underrated songs.

The Voice Krista Hughes took to the stage knowing what we were about to hear. A voice that had depth and tone with a vintage sound that gave you chills. She did not try to over-sing any part of the song and delivered a pure, raw vocal performance that transcended her meek presence. Whether she wins the Voice or not, she has a guaranteed musics career ahead of her. Listen for yourself.
